Mo is heading back to Toronto to join his club after the US’s comfortable victory against Barbados. The US will head to Barbados to play the second leg of the match this week, however with an 8 goal cushion, US head coach Bob Bradley has released 10 players from the squad to allow them to return to their respective club teams. Mo missed the last two games because of his international obligations but should be back on the pitch for Saturday’s game against Kansas City.
“It’s great to have Mo back,” said Reds coach John Carver. “I’m very grateful to the U.S. team because they could have kept Mo for the next game but they’ve allowed us to bring him back.”
